This outside skirt steak is perfect for Taco Tuesday, Fajita Friday, and even (our favorite) carne asada. For some added flavor, we recommend pairing this with our Umami Glaze as the perfect skirt steak marinade.

Preferred Cooking Method: Second City Prime's preferred cooking method for Outside Skirt Steak is grilling it on high heat for a short amount of time. We recommend setting your grill to 450 degrees fahrenheit for optimal results.

Preferred Cooking Time: The Outside Skirt Steak is very thin and lean meat therefore you should only cook it for 2-4 minutes on each side for medium rare. For medium we recommend 5-7 minutes on each side and well done would be 8-10 minutes on each side. We also suggest letting it rest for five minutes before cutting into it.
